BUILDING COMMUNITY
IN PHNOM PENH
As New Life Fellowship Cambodia, our hearts beat with the rhythm of Phnom Penh, our vibrant capital and home to millions. We feel a deep, personal calling to be the church for this incredible city. Our response is intentional: planting communities, not just buildings, through multiple campuses and numerous cell groups woven into Phnom Penh’s fabric.
Think of our campuses – like our centers in Stueng Mean Chey, Toul Sangke, and Dangkao – as Life Transformation Centers. These are welcoming spaces where individuals encounter God personally and begin to understand His beautiful plan, starting anew chapter grounded in faith. We’re building lives and futures,
one person at a time.
Our dream is to expand further across Phnom Penh, reaching more individuals and families, creating more opportunities for connection, growth, and experiencing God’s life-changing love right here in our city. We’re building a community that transforms lives and impacts our home,Phnom Penh.
CONNECTING HEARTS
TO CHRIST
Rooted in Phnom Penh, New Life Fellowship Cambodia passionately cultivates diverse ministries, each a community
designed to connect individuals personally with God’s transformative love and salvation. Our deepest desire is for our city
to discover His wonderful plan for a life filled with purpose.
Our weekend services offer a welcoming encounter with God. Beyond these, our vibrant Youth, engaging University, supportive Men’s, nurturing Women’s, and enriching Marriage ministries build strong, interconnected communities where personal faith grows and spiritual maturity is nurtured.
Crucially, these ministries are bridges, fostering relationships thatlead more people to Jesus and our fellowship. At our core is a deep commitment to people’s salvation, growth, and connection within a thriving community. Our ministries are the essence of our community, where lives are built, faith is strengthened, and God’s Kingdom expands in Phnom Penh.
PERSONAL
TRANSFORMATION,
KINGDOM IMPACT
Rooted in Phnom Penh, New Life Fellowship Cambodia champions a deeply personal discipleship journey that transforms
individual lives and builds our vibrant community. We passionately guide each person to grasp their “why,” “how,” and “what” in Christ, nurturing growth from new beginnings to mature faith within our ministry and cell groups. This is about experiencing profound personal change and discovering God’s unique purpose for life right here in our city.
Our Life Guidelines and School of Ministry are practical tools, empowering us to glorify God, multiply His impact in Phnom Penh, and share His love with our neighbors. Like a house on solid rock (Luke 6:48), LG provides foundational truth for resilient faith in our bustling environment. Water baptism marks a powerful personal commitment within our community. We then encourage serving others, a vital step in personal growth that strengthens our bonds and enables transformed lives to lead others to Christ in Phnom Penh.
This holistic discipleship builds a community where individual transformation fuels collective growth and impact within our city. By equipping each person with a strong faith foundation and a heart for service, we empower them to live out God’s purpose and actively build His Kingdom in Phnom Penh.
BUILDING TOGETHER
At New Life Fellowship Cambodia, right here in Phnom Penh, wefirmly believe that each individual is called to actively serve God and collectively build His church within our vibrant capital. We affectionately call our dedicated volunteers in every ministry COMMUNITY BUILDERS. These are individuals who have experienced new birth in Christ, are continually growing in their faith, and are courageously stepping out to serve where God directs them and where they identify needs within our church community.
We champion the belief that everyone is called to lead in their sphere of influence. Together, as a unified body, we serve the Lord and intentionally build a strong, interconnected community throughout Phnom Penh. Our COMMUNITY BUILDERS hail from our engaging Weekend Services, diverse ministries, and represent numerous levels of service.
United in purpose, we work hand-in-hand to build God’s Kingdom in our beloved city, recognizing the vital contribution of each volunteer in shaping our fellowship and reaching our community for Christ.
BUILDING HOPE
AND FUTURE
Our Skills Training Center operates with a vision of “Jesus and Jobs.” We strive to empower Cambodians to build a better life by equipping them for decent employment. Simultaneously, we are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ and fostering connections between our students and the local churchcommunity, addressing both practical and spiritual needs.
Fulfilling government requirements for NGOs, we provide quality, practical education free of charge. Our courses cover essential
languages, office and computer proficiency, leadership, and life skills – tools crucial for securing successful careers that significantly improve quality of life. We aim to equip every student effectively for their future prospects.
Beyond technical skills, we cultivate genuine relationships, sharing Christ’s love organically through teacher-student interactions. We encourage youth participation in supportive cell groups and Life Guideline (LG) classes, offering pathways for spiritual growth, which we believe is foundational to building a meaningful life.
TRANSFORMING LIVES,
BUILDING COMMUNITIES
In 1994 New Life Fellowship Cambodia was established in PhnomPenh, and root of our church planting ministry began to grow in 1999, dedicated to life transformation and building communities of believers across Cambodia. From our thriving Phnom Penh base, we’ve dynamically grown to over 17 provinces in Cambodia, each a center for life transformation and a growing community of believers, aiming to revitalize our nation through the Gospel.
We believe church planting is God’s primary agent for life transformation, influence, and discipleship, equipping individuals to build strong churches and a nation living by His purposes, fostering
thriving communities of believers. Our movement significantly contributes to Christianity in Cambodia, resulting in widespread life transformation and the establishment of strong communities of believers.
Strategically planting churches nurtures vibrant communities of believers that are beacons of hope and agents of life transformation throughout Cambodia. This expansion is driven by our commitment to reaching every corner with Jesus’
life-transforming message, contributing to a spiritual awakening built upon strong and multiplying communities of believers for Cambodia’s future.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
FOR TRANSFORMATION
AND COMMUNITY
We focus on equipping leaders and raising up new leaders through two dynamic programs. Our School of Church Planters
(2 years, bi-monthly) develops pastors and planters for effective leadership and church growth. The School of Leaders (1 year,
monthly hub intensives) empowers potential leaders with core ministry skills. Both programs aim to foster life transformation and to strengthen building community.
Our practical “train as you go” philosophy keeps leaders embedded in their communities, applying learning immediately.
This hands-on approach effectively equips and raises leaders, driving genuine life transformation and community building,
proving more impactful than traditional live-in models.
BUILDING LIVES
THROUGH EDUCATION
New Life School in Phnom Penh ignites hope and dreams in Cambodian children, educating them as future leaders of
character. We address the lack of accessible quality education for low-income families, a challenge perpetuating poverty and
limiting children’s belief in a brighter future. They often struggle to dream, feeling opportunities are out of reach.
New Life School breaks this cycle by providing quality education, nurturing potential, and instilling the belief that they can become Cambodia’s future leaders.
We offer foundational experiences and skills to build confidence, enabling them to envision and create better futures for themselves and our Phnom Penh community.
Our commitment empowers these children to dream big and become agents of positive change in Phnom Penh, shaping a brighter future for themselves and Cambodia.
EDUCATION
AND CHILDREN
IN COMMUNITY
Our program is dedicated to giving hope and a future to at-risk children and their families in Cambodia. We deeply value the
family unit, recognizing it as the ideal environment for a child’s healthy development. That’s why we focus on supporting children who are already being cared for by their aunts, grandmothers,
older siblings, or mothers. Our goal is to strengthen these existing family structures, ensuring children don’t become a financial burden or face increased risks.
We achieve this by providing crucial complementary education. This isn’t just about academics; it’s designed to encourage
children to stay in school, equip them with essential life skills, and ultimately raise up future leaders for Cambodia. By empowering both children and their families, we’re building a stronger, brighter future, right here in Phnom Penh.
BUILDING FUTURES
YOUTH AND EDUCATION
New Life Foundation empowers Cambodian youth through an integrated approach, combining education with vital support. Our Office Skills Training Centre (OSTC) equips university students with
essential job skills, including English, comprehensive computer proficiency (MS Office), and crucial office, management, and “soft” skills. This fosters self-sufficiency and economic contribution.
We’re expanding this successful Phnom Penh model to the provinces, exploring business and entrepreneurship curricula, and seeking self-sustainable community centers for wider reach.
Our Student Dormitories/Next Step Houses provide safe, supportive living environments. These separate male and female dorms nurture life skills, spiritual growth, and leadership, offering a solid foundation for adulthood. Our goal is to secure permanent facilities, ensuring ongoing safety and fostering future leaders who will drive New Life’s continued influence.
Through the University Student Sponsorship Program (Tomorrow
Generation), we empower promising provincial students by sponsoring their Phnom Penh university education. Beyond
financial and academic support, we provide invaluable internships and volunteering opportunities with New Life Foundation and New Life Fellowship Cambodia, ensuring they gain practical experience to become impactful leaders and contribute
meaningfully to their communities and the nation.
FAMILY AND
SUSTAINABILITYT
NURTURING HEALTH AND
EDUCATION
New Life Foundation is dedicated to holistic community development through vital family and education initiatives. Our
Patient Care and Referral program offers crucial medical assistance to rural Cambodians, bridging gaps where local facilities are insufficient. We provide basic healthcare and health education, guiding individuals to essential services like the Healing Home in Phnom Penh. We also train health workers in myotherapy for pain relief and deliver preventative primary healthcare education in rural areas, collaborating with local services to improve community health practices.
Our Family and Sustainable Development Project elevates living standards by offering quality education on sustainable development. We empower local pastors and leaders with skills for sustainable family plans, including small businesses and livelihood training, providing necessary resources. We believe that by strengthening these core families, they will transform their communities’ economies.
Ultimately, New Life Foundation aims to spearhead sustainable humanitarian work, benefiting the entire community by providing crucial Language, Life, Leadership skill training, and Livelihood opportunities.
