“He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.” Luke 6:48 At New Life Fellowship, Life Guidelines Ministry (LG) is a ministry that offers a solid Christian foundation to both our new church comers and existing church members. We have written four different classes for all levels of Christians.
- 1. The Transformed Life
- 2. The Life of a Disciple
- 3. The Life of a Servant
- 4. The Life of a Leader.
Our desire is to see every Christian walk in the purpose of God for their lives. The LG ministry exists to help people have a strong foundation in the Word of God so that they can build solid, Christian lives that will fulfill the calling of God. In addition, they will also be well-prepared when trials or tribulations occur along the way. After students finish their second class, The Life of a Disciple, they will be given the opportunity to be water baptized. We invite pastors, leaders, family members and friends to participate in this event. It is a witness that they have given up their old life, and have accepted the new life that the Lord has given them. In 2017, we water baptized 99 people.
We believe that after someone has had their life transformed and they have taken the steps of commitment to the Lord, they also need to move on with their engagement to serve. The Life of a Servant is the next class to help them learn to serve with a humble heart. Many of our church members have taken the step to serve and as a result have helped others to come and know the Lord as well
